GIBBS IS BACK?! Mark Harmon’s return to NCIS is entirely possible

Is it true that fans will soon be able to see their favorite characters again?
Police procedurals on CBS are always good, but NCIS has a different kind of fan-favorite, especially for understudy Mark Harmon.
”Several major case investigation teams with special agents investigate crimes involving the Navy. The first episode of the series was broadcast in September 2003, so it will soon celebrate its 2020 anniversary.”
Mark Harmon has been on the show since the first season and continues to play Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Supervisory Special Agent for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Mark Harmon leaves DC and goes to Alaska in episode 4 of season 19

”The reason Gibbs went to Alaska was because of a case, but he chose to stay there instead of returning to Washington. He is known to follow his heart. He also seemed to want to find peace and he finally did.”

Fans have been waiting for the return of the company boss without fear

And now there seems to be hope! In a recent interview, Rocky Carroll, who plays NCIS Director Leon Vance and works with Harmon, hinted that Gibbs could return to the show soon.
Carroll also made it clear that the writers handled Gibbs’ temporary departure from the show very carefully, leaving plenty of room for him to return at any time. But it seems fans have accepted that he won’t be on the show anymore.
“I think we’ll see Gibbs if we get there. This season, there were situations where he could have come back to help or show up, but he didn’t. Don’t forget one thing, though.” : Gibbs really wants his character to die. That makes me think he won’t return to the screen,” said Reddit user Karl_Racki.
Well, let’s hope the writers have something up their sleeve. Maybe a surprise cameo would work?
